Hats Off to the Hall of Fame

The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame in Tamworth has announced details of a special concert to be held during the 2009 Hats Off Festival in Country Music Capital.

Being staged as a fundraiser for the Hall of Fame, the concert will star Rob Breese, Leanne Coddington, Jodie Crosby, The Crosby Sisters, Dianne Lindsay, Lawrie Minson, Deniese Morrison, Slim Newton, Steve Newton and Peter Pratt.

Peter will co-compere the concert with Shaza Leigh.

The concert will be staged at Butler’s Auditorium at 7pm on Friday, July 17.

Tickets are $15, available from Tamworth Visitor Information Centre at the corner of Peel and Murray Streets, Tamworth, by telephone on 02 6767 5300 or online via www.visittamworth.com.

The Hall of Fame is also running a “meet and greet” fundraiser barbecue at Tamworth’s Harvey Norman store on the Saturday following the concert. Guests expected for this event so far include Peter Leslie, Felicity Urquhart, Katrina Burgoyne, Shaza Leigh, Leanne Coddington, Peter Pratt, Rhonda Hatch, Janet Gallagher, Lindsay Waddington, Deniese Morrison, Lorraine Pfitzner, Rodney Hazell and Dianne Lindsay.

It will run from 9.30am to 1pm.
