The World’s most exciting band competition, Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB), held its Australasian Final last Saturday, 17 March 2012. Fifteen extremely talented bands from all over Australia and New Zealand, battled it out for the amazing opportunity of winning a trip to Romania to perform at the GBOB World Final! This event will attract music industry scouts from all over Europe and the US, as representative bands from 30 countries will be playing off for a first prize worth US$100,000, and the title of ‘Best New Band in the World’.

The Australasian Final of Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) (www.gbob.com) is heading to EVAN Theatre (Penrith World of Entertainment, NSW) to find a band to send overseas to the World Final! The most promising original live acts from Australia and New Zealand will be battling it out for the chance to qualify for a trip to Romania where they will play off against bands from 30 other countries, this will make the event at EVAN Theatre will be a passionate battle indeed!
