Hotsource.com.au has adopted the following Privacy Policy as we recognise your rights to keep personal information private. This Privacy Policy covers Hotsource.com.au's treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect or hold.

One way is when you voluntarily submit it to us, such as by submitting information to our Gig Guide or Directory, registering for an event or conference, submitting an enquiry online, or participating in a seminar evaluation survey. When we collect this information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that:

  • You will be notified as to why we are collecting this information;
  • How it will be used, and;
  • Who it will be given to.

It is up to you whether or not you would like to provide us with personal information. We will not collect any personal information through the Hotsource.com.au website unless you knowingly provide it.

Principle 2 - How we use your information & disclosure

Hotsource.com.au and its affiliated companies will use the personal information collected for the purpose disclosed at the time of collection. We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without taking reasonable steps to first seek your consent.

Receiving messages from Hotsource.com.au and its affiliated companies is optional. If you do not wish to receive messages or wish to update information, contact details will always be included so that we may be informed. (You can manage your account and your notification settings by logging into Hotsource and going to your Account Home.)

If you prefer not to receive postal mailings from Hotsource.com.au and its affiliated companies, please return the mailing marked with 'Return to sender' or write to the return address listed.

Hotsource.com.au and its affiliated companies will take reasonable steps to delete records from our database when we receive requests to do so.

Principle 4 - Access to your information

Hotsource.com.au and its affiliated companies will take reasonable steps to let you know:

  • What sort of personal information we hold;
  • What purposes we hold it for, and;
  • How it was collected and used.

At your request we will take reasonable steps to update or amend your personal information. If you wish to have your personal information deleted please let us know and we will delete that information wherever practical.

Principle 5 - Security

Hotsource.com.au will take appropriate steps to maintain the security of your data and to protect it from misuse and loss from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Hotsource.com.au will take appropriate steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if you have requested us to do so.

Hotsource.com.au may amend this Privacy Policy occasionally by posting the amended version on our website. We suggest that you visit our website regularly to keep up to date with any changes.
